Megan Durham
About
Megan Durham is a Singing Voice Specialist and voice faculty member at the University of Louisville School of Music. She holds a Master of Music degree in voice pedagogy and performance from Westminster Choir College of Rider University and a Bachelor of Arts in music from the University of Richmond. Megan is a Recognized Vocologist with the Pan American Vocology Association and completed her certification in singing voice habilitation with Dr. Karen Wicklund at the Chicago Center for Professional Voice. She partners with laryngologists (ENTs) and speech-language pathologists (SLPs) to habilitate singers, actors, and professional voice users who have experienced vocal injuries. Incorporating trauma-informed care into her pedagogy, Megan is a facilitator of multiple somatic practices including YogaVoice, LifeForce Yoga, and Movement For Trauma. She founded Respire Vocal Wellness in Louisville, which provides integrative voice care that combines vocal technique with holistic wellness approaches. Her background includes voice faculty positions at DeSales University, Lehigh University, Moravian College, and Muhlenberg College, as well as affiliation with specialty medical practices.
