Matthew Green

Tenor Matthew Green is Director of the DeWitt Studio at CNY Singing Garden and has 22 years of teaching experience. He is a 19-year veteran of the Syracuse Opera Chorus and also serves as an experienced stage director, acting and vocal coach, and rehearsal director. Green is a New York State-certified respiratory therapist who specializes in asthma and breathing problems, bringing unique expertise to vocal technique and breath management. He earned a Bachelor's degree in vocal music performance from Ithaca College. Green co-directs OVCE (One Voice Community Ensemble) with Laura Enslin and works with singers of all ages and abilities in the Syracuse area.
