Mary Lou is a vocal instructor based in Midland, Texas who began teaching professionally in 2018. She holds a Bachelor in Humanities from University of Texas Permian Basin (2011) and a Culinary Arts degree from Odessa College. During her college years, Mary Lou studied private voice and participated in choir and musical theater coursework, bringing extensive performance background from her school years through present. Her teaching specialties include classical, Broadway, pop, jazz, and sacred music styles. Mary Lou teaches from her designated home studio in NW Midland near Neely Ave and MidKiff Rd, which is equipped with an electronic piano and comprehensive music library. She offers flexible lesson formats including in-person, online, and group lessons. Known for her outgoing personality, Mary Lou also has expertise in voice instruction and conducting, making her well-equipped to guide students of various skill levels and musical interests.
