Marsha Schlangen is a Licensed and Certified Music Instructor with over 35 years of experience in performing arts and music education. A vocal performance major from Eastern Washington University, she has built a distinguished career as both a performer and educator. She is the founder and owner of Voiceworks Music Studio, an award-winning music instruction studio serving the greater Spokane area, established with a philosophy that music instruction should be enjoyable, built on a solid technical foundation, inspire creativity, and match each individual's goals. As an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Marsha has been deeply involved in the Spokane community for decades, serving as a teacher and director for Christian Youth Theatre-Spokane since 1996, where she also serves as the in-house drummer and percussionist for productions. Beyond her teaching studio, Marsha is a vocalist and drummer in local churches and a session drummer for various community theater productions. She is also a founding member of an all-girl band called Door of Hope, which offers concerts and leads worship for churches and conferences throughout the region, with a particular focus on ministry work in correctional facilities. Marsha's comprehensive teaching approach accommodates students of all ages from 5 to 95, with expertise spanning voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, and percussion.
