Marlena Wagschal is a Bloomington native and accomplished vocalist who teaches voice, violin, and guitar at The Davis Academy of Music in Bloomington. Her musical journey began at age 4 with violin and has evolved into a diverse performance and teaching career spanning multiple genres. She holds a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and a Bachelor's Degree also from IU Jacobs. Her teaching expertise spans opera, classical, jazz, musical theater, and pop styles, making her an excellent choice for students with varied musical interests. As a graduate of one of the world's most prestigious music schools, Marlena combines rigorous classical training with versatility across contemporary genres.
