Mark Lee has over 30 years of professional teaching experience in Boston, Massachusetts. He serves as voice faculty at New England Conservatory's Preparatory School and previously led the Voice Department at NEC's School of Continuing Education for more than a decade. Mark maintains a diverse studio including youth, teens, collegiate and pre-professional singers, adult learners, and professional performers. His teaching philosophy integrates operatic and Bel Canto traditions with contemporary voice science, emphasizing understanding 'the physical structures and logic of the body' through collaboration with voice researchers and Boston medical professionals. He applies scientific discoveries alongside traditional techniques across all vocal performance styles. He is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Pan American Vocology Association, and The Voice Foundation, and previously served on the NATS Boston Chapter board.
