Margaret Taylor Woods is a soprano who enjoys a robust career of opera, new music, concert, and crossover work in settings up and down the East Coast. She maintains a private voice studio and serves on multiple music faculties including Virginia Commonwealth University, Berkshire Choral International, and City Singers Youth Choirs. Her students have been accepted to some of the top music programs in the country, and she is passionate about nurturing the next generation of vocal artists. She brings a professional performance perspective to her teaching, combining technical excellence with artistic expression.

Education & Qualifications

Master of Music in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College; Active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS)
