Manny Perez is an accomplished and sought-after voice teacher and artistic consultant with over 40 years of experience in vocal instruction and mentoring. As Director of Voice Studies at the Miami Summer Classical Music Festival since 2014, he brings extensive expertise in cultivating emerging talent. Perez teaches at the prestigious Opera Naples Academy and serves as guest faculty with the Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Development Program (since October 2023), Washington National Opera, and Florida Grand Opera. Born in Miami and trained at the University of Miami as a scholarship voice student, Perez advanced his studies in New York with acclaimed voice teacher Bill Schuman. His students have achieved national and international success, gracing stages at the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, San Francisco Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, Seattle Opera, Royal Opera House, Teatro della Scala, and Teatro Colón Buenos Aires. Known for his ability to develop the best in his students, Perez combines his international performing experience with proven teaching methodologies to help singers reach their full potential.
