Lizzie Stoxen
About
Lizzie Stoxen is a voice, choral, and piano instructor based in Redding, California. She is an experienced and knowledgeable musician with a history in performance, choral direction, and private teaching. Lizzie serves as the Drama Director and high school choir director at Redding School of the Arts, where she develops confidence and creativity in her students through music and theatre education. She was recently appointed as the director of the choir at Pilgrim Congregation Church in Redding and runs a rapidly growing private studio offering voice and piano lessons. A graduate of Enterprise High School, Lizzie was an active member of many award-winning ensembles including Starship, the vocal jazz choir TBA, percussion ensemble, and Victorian Carolers. She studied in vocal performance programs at both Shasta College and Roosevelt University. Lizzie holds a deep belief that music and theatre education are an intrinsic part of developing confidence and creativity, and her favorite part of her job is seeing the growth in her students.
