Liz Kiger is a professional vocalist, violinist, and voice teacher based in Brooklyn, New York, with expertise in working with singers recovering from vocal injury or trauma. She brings personal experience with diagnosed vocal pathology to her teaching practice, specializing in sustainable technique development through airflow and resonance awareness exercises similar to those used in speech therapy. Liz's teaching philosophy emphasizes that singing should always FEEL as good as it sounds, prioritizing both technical skill and individual vocal expression in a supportive and encouraging environment. Her students have achieved remarkable success, earning acceptance to prestigious programs including Juilliard Pre-College, LaGuardia, and undergraduate conservatory programs at Mannes, NYU, and Brooklyn Conservatory.
