Lisa Woo is a vocal coach based in Berkeley, California, bringing over twenty years of professional experience as a teacher, singer, and performer. She holds a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance with classical training in Opera, Musical Theatre, and Jazz. Lisa regularly performs in musical theater, bands, and with jazz musicians globally, having appeared on nearly 100 stages across America during a two-year Kennedy Center tour and performed throughout Israel with various theater companies. She teaches students in her Berkeley voice studio offering both in-person and online lessons, serving the San Francisco Bay Area and students globally. Her comprehensive teaching encompasses vocal coaching for singing, speech and presentation coaching, and performance coaching. Lisa co-teaches Power and Presence workshops at Apple University alongside colleagues from Stanford University and UCLA, demonstrating her expertise in vocal communication beyond traditional singing. Her extensive performance background combined with advanced pedagogical training provides students with expert guidance for developing both technical mastery and professional performance skills across multiple genres and contexts.
