Lisa Stidham is a Teacher of Vocal Studies at Oberlin Conservatory of Music. An accomplished soprano with over 40 years of teaching experience, Stidham has performed internationally across opera, concerts, and recitals. She previously taught at multiple Southern California institutions and maintains a private voice studio in Oberlin. She employs a holistic, whole-body approach to teaching singing that prioritizes alignment-based, healthy singing in multiple styles. She is certified in Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method (Levels I, II, and III) and applies these principles to contemporary commercial music instruction.

BA in Music from University of California, Santa Barbara (1978), MA in Musicology from University of California, Santa Barbara (1983), MM in Voice from San Francisco Conservatory of Music (1985), DMA in Vocal Performance from University of Southern California (2006).
