Lisa Passonno Franklin is an accomplished voice instructor with advanced degrees in vocal performance from renowned institutions. She earned her Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the Crane School of Music, one of the nation's premier music schools. She continued her studies abroad, receiving her Master's Certificate in Voice/Opera from the prestigious Opera School at the Hochschule fuer Musik in Wuerzburg, Germany, where she performed in concert and opera settings with German orchestras. She completed her advanced training with a Master's Degree in Voice/Opera from SUNY Binghamton, earned in conjunction with the Tri-Cities Opera, giving her practical performance experience alongside academic credentials. Lisa brings extensive teaching experience from her faculty position at the NY State Theatre Institute, where she taught voice classes and mentored students in performance. She currently teaches voice at The Academy of the Holy Names in Albany, New York, and serves as an instructor at the Collaborative School of the Arts.
