Linda Tomkinson is a master vocal coach and owner of SingWithLinda's Vocal Studio and Artist Hub, serving clients in the Salt Lake City area and internationally through online coaching. She is a founding member and Master Teacher for the Institute for Vocal Advancement, where she also serves as Director of Conference. Linda has been practicing and teaching Speech Level Singing methodology since 1995, when she was first trained by Seth Riggs himself. Over her career spanning 24+ years of teaching voice lessons, she has been mentored and trained by several Master Teachers, including Greg Enriquez, Jeffrey Skouson, Dave Stroud, Brett Manning, Michael Goodrich, and Wendy Parr. She achieved Speech Level Singing Level 5 certification, the highest level attainable, and in 2010 was invited to be one of only five Master Teachers for Speech Level Singing International. Her unique expertise in mixed voice technique has helped countless singers develop consistency, power, and control across their entire vocal range. Linda believes that learning should never end and continues ongoing professional development. Her students have achieved remarkable success across professional platforms including The Voice, American Idol, Broadway productions, and international touring with major artists, recording labels including Capitol Records, and performances with world-renowned companies and venues.
