Linda Balliro

About

Linda Balliro is an accomplished Associate Professor of Voice at Berklee College of Music. She spent over a decade performing as a classical singer across Europe, appearing in church, concert, and opera settings throughout Central Europe, including touring with the Hungarian Symphony Orchestra and performing at the Wiener Festwochen. She previously served as voice faculty at the Vienna Conservatorys musical theater program and maintains a private teaching studio working with diverse vocalists in rock, world music, musical theater, and opera genres. Linda emphasizes developing a balanced voice so that students can move easily throughout their range without unnecessary manipulation, prioritizing training of the muscles through coordinated exercises that balance the chest register and head voice.
