Lillian Ridout is a soprano vocal educator and performer native to Albuquerque, teaching voice and beginner piano at the Albuquerque Institute of Music. She earned a Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance from the University of New Mexico and a Masters degree in Vocal Performance from the Lamont School of Music in Denver, Colorado, where she was recipient of the Denver Lyric Opera Guild Award. Lillians operatic repertoire includes roles such as Fiordiligi in Cosi Fan Tutte, Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte, and recent performances in Lenfant et les Sortilèges and Les Mamelles des Tiresias. She has been featured as a soloist with the New Mexico Philharmonic Orchestras Pops concerts and has been active in musical theater showcases in the UNM theatrical scene.
