About
Lesia Schulha is an accomplished music educator with over 30 years of experience in piano teaching, adjudicating, and performing across Canada, France, and the United States. She holds a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music and was honored with an invitation to study with 1st Van Cliburn finalist Cécile Ousset in Paris, France from 1988-1990. Her comprehensive teaching fields include piano, voice, piano pedagogy, chamber music, and choral conducting, combined with strong expertise in music theory pedagogy and voice coaching. Lesia offers private and online lessons for piano students of all ages and abilities, and beginning voice lessons for ages 10 and up. She welcomes students of all ages and skill levels. With 42 years of professional experience, Lesia has held numerous organizational positions including State Chair of Senior Music Teachers National Association Competitive Events, immediate past President of FSMTA/MTNA District 8, past Manatee County President, Chair of the Florida State Music Teachers Association Conference 2010, and FSMTA Vice-President for Competitive Events 2011-2013. She operates Lesia Schulha Piano Studio in Bradenton and serves the greater Sarasota/Bradenton area with her high-quality instruction and mentorship.
Education & Qualifications
Master of Music - Eastman School of Music. Studied with 1st Van Cliburn finalist Cécile Ousset in Paris, France (1988-1990). Advanced training in piano, voice, chamber music, and music pedagogy. Certified by MTNA (Music Teachers National Association).
