Leah Mueller
About
Leah Mueller is the director and co-owner of Singing Onstage, a musical theatre training school in State College, Pennsylvania. She is also the Performing Arts teacher at the State College Area School District's Delta Program Middle School. Leah grew up in State College and was a Singing Onstage student herself when she was in middle and high school. She holds an MFA in Acting from Indiana University, an MA in Theatre Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, and a Bachelor of Music Education from Penn State University with a choral/vocal emphasis. Mueller spent six years as State College Area School District's Delta Program Middle School performing arts teacher, directing the program's musicals, plays and choral and band concerts. In 2022, Leah and her husband Jared Yarnall-Schane purchased Singing Onstage from founders Heidi and Richard Biever, continuing the mission of the children's theater program that has brought musical theatre to State College for over 20 years. She specializes in musical theatre training, vocal technique, and performance preparation for students of all ages.
