Lauren Abbott is an accomplished voice and violin instructor based in Columbia, Missouri, offering comprehensive music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Born and raised in Rolla, Missouri, she grew up singing in church and began playing violin at the age of eight. Throughout her youth, she developed a deep passion for music and diverse musical genres including indie, 80s, and modern rock styles. Lauren brings both performance expertise and teaching experience to her private lessons at A Major Music Lessons in Columbia. Her dual competency in voice and violin allows her to teach students interested in either instrument or combined vocal and instrumental performance. She is committed to helping students develop strong technical foundations while exploring their individual musical interests and preferences. Lauren understands the unique challenges new musicians face and works patiently with beginners while also challenging advanced students to expand their skills and repertoire.
