Laurel Sherwood

Laurel Sherwood is a professional vocal coach and singer based in Ventura, CA with a long history of performing with various bands ranging from cover bands to a jazz orchestra. She is a classically trained actress with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from California State University, Northridge and has starred in several musicals and plays in Los Angeles as well as Hawaii. She has also worked as a professional actress in film and TV and was a voice over casting director for several years. Laurel was trained by Seth Riggs in the famous Speech Level Singing technique and has extensive training with the Institute of Vocal Advancement (IVA). She currently serves as the lead singer of a professional cover band called The Jukebox Rockers who perform a variety of music from different eras including classic rock, pop, country and disco. Laurel has been teaching voice professionally for over five years and offers both in-person and online lessons from her studio in Ventura.
