Laura Catherine Williams is a mezzo-soprano and voice teacher based in Asheville, North Carolina, specializing in vocal health with 20 years of experience. She holds degrees from Brevard College and the University of Colorado, Boulder, plus a Certificate of Vocology from the National Center for Voice and Speech in Salt Lake City. Laura has performed internationally and taught at Western Carolina University and Mars Hill University. Her personal experience with vocal trauma and multiple surgeries informs her compassionate approach to helping singers recover and develop sustainable technique. Laura's teaching emphasizes healthy vocal technique development, stylistic versatility coaching, performance confidence building, and Alexander Technique application. She works with singers across genres including classical, contemporary, and musical theater, specializing in vocal health and rehabilitation.
