Laura Carisa Gardea is the Lead Voice Instructor at Triad Music Academy in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she provides personalized vocal training to students of all ages and skill levels. A multidisciplinary creative from Winston-Salem, she holds a Master of Fine Arts in Voice from UNC School of the Arts (UNCSA) and is deeply committed to fostering musical excellence and artistic development. With a strong foundation in classical singing technique and broad performance experience across classical, musical theater, pop, and rock genres, she tailors lesson plans to meet each student's individual musical goals and preferences. Beyond her work as a vocal instructor, Gardea is an accomplished original music artist and co-founder of the band Proxevita, a sound healing practitioner, and a humanitarian dedicated to sustainable development and climate action. She holds a Master of Arts in Sustainability from Wake Forest University and is the founder of the Winston-Salem Permaculture Collective and Southside Food Forest. Her unique blend of artistic excellence, pedagogical training, and commitment to social responsibility makes her an inspiring teacher and mentor for vocal students.
