Laretta Smith

Laretta Smith is an experienced vocal instructor and music educator serving the Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina. She brings over four years of professional teaching experience to her private voice lessons and music education programs. With a strong foundation in classical vocal training and choral performance, Ms. Smith studied music education at Florida State University, where she was an active member of the FSU University Concert Choir, University Chamber Singers, FSU Opera Workshop, and the women's ensemble Mane Attraction. Beyond her FSU experience, she is also a current member of the Cumberland Oratorio Singers, continuing to develop her performance skills and artistic expression. Ms. Smith is dedicated to teaching students of all ages and skill levels, with a flexible teaching approach that accommodates each student's learning style and musical goals. She is willing to travel throughout the greater Myrtle Beach region to provide lessons, extending her reach up to 30 miles from her base location to serve students in surrounding communities.
