About
Lane Haugh is a soprano and music educator from Virginia who serves as Assistant Education Director at LeMoyne Arts while maintaining a private voice studio in Tallahassee, Florida. With a robust background in mainstage opera, musical theatre, and classical music combined with over 10 years of one-on-one private instruction experience, Lane is passionate about sharing her performance experience with students of all ages and skill levels. She has performed in opera productions including roles in Patience at Florida State University, Il barbiere di Siviglia with Opera Roanoke, and Calisto with Red River Lyric Opera. Her teaching approach emphasizes vocal health and technique, ensuring that every student, regardless of grade level or prior experience, develops the skills needed to reach their personal musical goals. Lane's students have gone on to audition for FSU's Music program, participate in Young Actors Theatre, and perform in local High School productions, choirs, and with local bands throughout the Tallahassee community.
