Kyle Swann
About
Kyle Swann is a pianist, conductor, and voice faculty member at The Hartt School, University of Hartford. He holds both a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music from The Hartt School. Swann made his professional debut in 1993 and has performed with orchestras and opera companies across the United States, Europe, and South America. He serves as a vocal coach at The Hartt School and as a faculty member in Yale School of Music's opera program, where he coaches graduate-level students in the Yale Opera program and serves as a collaborative pianist for art-song recitals. His conducting experience includes numerous opera productions such as Le Nozze di Figaro, La boheme, Rigoletto, The Rape of Lucretia, and others. Swann studied under notable teachers including Sidney Harth and Eleazer de Carvalho. He is an expert in coaching singers for auditions, performance, and artistic development.
