Kristina Newman is a dedicated voice instructor at Newton Music Academy and Boston Conservatory at Berklee's Graduate Vocal Pedagogy Program. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theater Vocal Pedagogy at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. With over 10 years of teaching experience and 16+ years of performing experience, Kristina brings both depth of knowledge and practical expertise to her instruction. She studied musical theater and advanced audition techniques at the prestigious Open Jar Institute in New York City and at the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria, where she focused on performing German Lieder and European opera repertoire. Her comprehensive teaching approach helps students develop proper breath management, pitch accuracy, beautiful tone production, expanded vocal range, and improved vocal control. She works effectively across a wide range of musical styles including musical theater, classical, contemporary, and pop singing. Kristina's lessons are tailored to individual student needs and goals, and she emphasizes foundational technique while helping students grow as artistic performers. Her background in both performance and pedagogy allows her to guide students toward confident, healthy vocal development.
