Dr. Kristin Dauphinais is Professor of Music and Chair of Vocal Studies at the University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music, one of the nation's premier music schools. A mezzo-soprano with extensive international performance experience, Dr. Dauphinais graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a BFA in musical theatre performance from the Lee Harvey Honors College at Western Michigan University. She holds both MM and DMA degrees in vocal performance from Arizona State University. Her distinguished career includes serving on the voice faculty of the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria, and she currently serves on the voice faculty at the prestigious Saarburger Serenaden-International Music Festival in Germany. As Chair of Vocal Studies, she provides leadership and mentorship to the University of Arizona's vibrant voice program, working with talented singers from around the world. Dr. Dauphinais is dedicated to comprehensive vocal training that combines rigorous technique with artistic interpretation, helping singers develop their unique voice and interpretation skills.
