Kristen Swiat is a voice teacher and manager at Queens Music Academy in Woodside, Queens. She graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2018 and completed NYU's Music Business program in May 2023. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Kristen brings over a decade of voice training and performance experience to her teaching. As an original songwriter, she has created multiple music video covers and trained extensively in contemporary vocal styles. Kristen specializes in teaching contemporary styles including pop, rock, musical theater, and country, incorporating comprehensive music theory, ear training, and vocal technique into her lessons. Her educational background combines conservatory-level vocal training from Berklee with business acumen from NYU, allowing her to guide students not only in vocal development but also in understanding the music industry. Kristen's approach emphasizes building solid technical foundations while exploring creative expression across diverse contemporary genres, making her particularly effective with students interested in popular music and contemporary vocal styles.
