Kristen Sullivan
About
Dr. Kristen Sullivan is a coloratura soprano and Collaborative Voice Instructor in Music and Theatre at Arkansas State University. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Texas with specialized training in vocal pedagogy and is a National Center for Voice and Speech-trained vocologist with previous internship experience at UT Southwestern Medical Clinics Voice Clinic. Her career encompasses extensive performance in musical theater, cabaret, opera, and operetta, with notable international performances across Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. Dr. Sullivan has championed lesser-known composers and produced North American premieres. Her scholarly interests focus on performing arts health, voice science, and women composers and pedagogues including Augusta Holmรจs and Mathilda Marchesi.
