Krista Lawrence
About
Krista Lawrence is an international award-winning soprano based out of Lincoln, Nebraska. Originally from Laramie, Wyoming, she came to Lincoln for graduate school and earned a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the Glenn Korff School of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2017. As a soprano, she enjoys performing in operatic, musical theatre, and contemporary styles. She has performed as a soloist with Opera Omaha and has appeared in numerous opera and musical theatre productions. Her favorite roles include the Queen of the Night from Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Adele from Die Fledermaus, Amalia Balash from She Loves Me, Cinderella from Into the Woods, and Eleanor Fine from Far From Heaven. She has competed at both the international and national level. Krista has taught voice for over 15 years and believes that each singer should find their own sincere sound and learn the tools to help them communicate with others in a healthy and effective way.
