Krista J. Smith

About

Krista J. Smith is the Owner and Director of The Music Studio, LLC, which she founded in 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education (K-12 Vocal and Instrumental) from Evangel University (1997) and is a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). Previously served as Choral Director at Logan-Rogersville (1997-2007), teaching elementary through high school vocal music and directing musicals. Currently directs Class Act Homeschool Performing Arts Choirs and Cantare Community Choir, and works with Kickapoo High School choirs. She has performed at Carnegie Hall twice (1996, 2004) and has received honors including Pi Kappa Lambda (music honor society) and Who's Who recognition. Her studio provides comprehensive music instruction including private voice lessons with a focus on individualized instruction and performance opportunities.
