Korianne Johnson
About
Korianne Orton-Johnson is Associate Teaching Professor, Head of Music Dance Theatre, and Contemporary Voice Division Coordinator at BYU School of Music. She has served as a private voice instructor for 22 years, with 19 years at BYU. Her students have performed across the country at venues including Tuacahn, Sundance Theater, The Muny Theatre, Off-Broadway, and Broadway productions. Many have achieved recognition in NATS competitions at local and regional levels. As a music director, she has worked with Hale Center Theater Orem, SCERA, Sundance Theatre, and other regional theaters. Her instruction emphasizes contemporary vocal pedagogy, acting for musical theater singers, and the Singing Athlete Method.

MM in Vocal Performance-Opera from Brigham Young University (2014), BFA in Music Dance Theatre from Brigham Young University (2002), 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (2020-2021), Rock The Audition Teacher Certification (2015-present)
