Kimberly Roberts
About
Kimberly Roberts is an accomplished soprano and Associate Professor of Practice of Voice at the University of Tennessee's Natalie L. Haslam College of Music. She reached regional finalist status in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and has performed leading operatic roles and as a soloist in major classical works across the nation and Western Europe, with particular expertise in American Neo-Romantic repertoire. As a voice instructor and private studio director, she specializes in training emerging professional singers. Her students have performed with major opera companies including Santa Fe Opera, Glimmerglass, Wolf Trap, and Merola, and consistently achieve recognition as national and regional finalists in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. She has also served as voice instructor for Des Moines Metro Opera.

Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance from Louisiana State University (2007), Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Louisiana State University (2003), Bachelor of Music in Education from Simpson College (1998).
