Kim Childs
About
Kim Childs, DMA, serves as Professor of Choral Studies and Voice at the University of Tulsa. He directs both Cappella Chamber Singers and Concert Chorale, while teaching choral conducting, choral literature, and private voice instruction. A professional tenor, Dr. Childs maintains an active performance career with regional ensembles including Tulsa Chorale and St. John's Episcopal Church. He also serves as director of music at College Hill Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. His teaching and performance work has been recognized with Oklahoma Music Educators Association Honor Choir awards and a Carnegie Hall debut in spring 2010.
