Kelly Johnson

Kelly Johnson is a Fort Myers native who began training in acting, singing, and dance at age 7. She specializes in evidence-based vocal technique and voice habilitation. Kelly earned a BA in Theatre with a Dance minor from Nova Southeastern University and a graduate certificate in Vocology (voice science) from Lamar University. She trained for over 12 years with voice teacher Susan Niekamp and Broadway vocal coach Mary Walkley in "the Connected Voice: a scientific approach to singing" technique. Kelly has performed on both Florida coasts in theatrical productions and has shared the stage with Broadway star Kristen Chenoweth and Barry Manilow on his farewell tour. She has worked as a professional choreographer with schools in Broward and Palm Beach counties and was a co-owner and board member of Measure for Measure Theatre for 3 years. Kelly has been the owner of Curtain Call Studios since January 2022, where she provides private voice lessons focusing on vocal technique, exercises, and repertoire work. As of Fall 2024, she is also an elementary music teacher at Fort Myers Beach Elementary.
