Professor of Voice at the Wanda L. Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University. Dr. Holst joined OCU faculty in 2012 and is a lyric coloratura soprano with extensive performance experience. She has performed with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Michigan Opera Theatre, Handel and Haydn Society of Boston, and numerous regional and national opera companies. Dr. Holst specializes in evidence-based vocal practices, bringing 20+ years of study in the art of singing, vocal anatomy, physiology, and pedagogical methods for classical, pop, and musical theatre styles. Her students maintain active performing careers in national tours, Broadway productions, cruise lines, and Disney performances. She earned recognition in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Regional Auditions and twice placed in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Artist Awards (2008, 2014).
