Kayla Gold offers vocal technique and performance training with a focus on musical theater, pop/rock, cabaret, and country music. She works with students ages 8 and up, including teenagers, beginners, and professional performers. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes developing solid grounding in vocal technique and joyful confidence as performers. Kayla focuses on breathing coordination, vocal strength, resonance, and tone, along with performance training and dramatic interpretation. She has been nominated for best featured performance by SFBATTC for her role in The Addams Family at Novato Theater Company and performs with Thirsty Ground, a Beatles to Bluegrass Trio. Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead states: "Working with Kayla is an absolute joy...My singing has become much more natural and effortless."
