Kay Paulsen
About
Dr. Kay Paulsen, known as Dr. P to her students, has over 40 years of experience as a professional singer and music educator. She is noted for her uncanny ability to diagnose damaged voices and return them to vocal health. Dr. Paulsen is an adjunct instructor of voice at Hamilton College in Clinton, NY and teaches at CNY Singing Garden. She has performed with prestigious organizations including the Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Chicago and Atlanta symphony choruses. Dr. Paulsen works with varying genres, special needs performers, and music teachers, and many of her former students have gone on to professional singing careers in multiple genres worldwide.

D.M.A. in voice performance & pedagogy from University of Colorado Boulder; Graduate degree from Northwestern University; Undergraduate degree from Greenville College (Illinois)
