About
Katy Wolfe is a voice teacher, performance coach, and theatre artist at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she teaches voice to graduate and undergraduate voice and acting students as a member of the Clarence Brown Theatre. She has spent the past twelve years as the voice teacher for the MFA acting students at the UT Theatre Department. A versatile musician fluent in both musical theater and classical repertoire, Katy has worked nationally as a performer, director, conductor, choreographer, voice teacher and clinician. She maintains private voice studios in both Knoxville and New York City, with clients working on and off Broadway and on major US Tours. Her performance credits as a company member of Clarence Brown Theatre include Kate in Kiss Me Kate, Mrs. Walker in Tommy, Marian in Music Man, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Mrs. Peachum in Threepenny Opera, Christmas Past and Mrs. Cratchitt in Christmas Carol, and Beggarwoman in Sweeney Todd.
Education & Qualifications
Master of Music from University of Tennessee Knoxville (studied with George Bitzas), Bachelor of Music from Belmont University.
