Katherine Posner is a gifted, caring, and highly accomplished vocal coach specializing in the bel canto method and classical voice training. She is deeply committed to understanding and replicating the teaching methods of the great Italian masters of the bel canto tradition. Katherine received her training from world-renowned voice teacher Cornelius L. Reid, author of five highly respected books on singing including The Free Voice and Bel Canto: Principles and Practices. She also studied under the esteemed Elisabeth Parham, a professor of voice at Oklahoma University, who guided her to a national award in the Metropolitan Opera Auditions. Katherine has built a reputation as a successful instructor who leads singers to increased vocal health, freedom, and high-level performing ability, bringing about a transformative experience leading to healthy, free, and beautiful singing. She has taught private voice lessons for many years and is active in the North Carolina and Florida arts advocacy communities. Katherine now provides vocal instruction in her studio in Palm Coast, Florida, and offers online lessons via Skype and other digital platforms for students worldwide.
