Katherine Lakoski is an accomplished voice instructor and Church Music Director based in Norfolk, Virginia. She holds a Master of Music degree in Voice from The Juilliard School (1980), one of the most prestigious music conservatories in the United States. With over four decades of professional experience, Lakoski maintains a private vocal studio in Norfolk and serves as Director of Music at Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church, directing the music ministry and leading choral ensembles. She teaches private voice at Old Dominion University as an Adjunct Professor, where she works with advanced vocal students in classical repertoire, diction, and vocal technique. Her professional background includes performance work with regional opera companies and concert appearances throughout Virginia. Lakoski specializes in classical vocal training, opera preparation, art song interpretation, and church music, helping students develop healthy vocal technique and artistic musicianship.
