Katherine Kiouses

Katherine Kiouses is an adjunct faculty member teaching voice at both Bakersfield College and California State University, Bakersfield. She specializes in vocal instruction and performance, with expertise in twentieth-century art song and chamber music. Katherine has taught band and orchestra at the elementary level and voice at the high school level. She is a co-founder of The Bakersfield Recital Series, which presents two annual concerts highlighting local composers and emerging performers. She performs with Duo Encarnación, a chamber group featuring voice and guitar, and regularly participates in local recitals. Her dedication to the Bakersfield music community demonstrates her commitment to bringing music and opportunities to local audiences.
