Katherine Eberle Fink is a mezzo-soprano and Professor Emeritus of Music at the University of Iowa School of Music, where she has taught since 1991. She specializes in teaching singing to ages 15-70 and has over twenty-seven years of experience at the University of Iowa, with previous teaching positions at the University of Georgia and the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Katherine made her New York debut at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall in 1994 and has given over one hundred solo recitals as a guest artist in eighteen states as well as in Brazil, Canada, England, Ireland, the Netherlands, Russia, and the Virgin Islands. She specializes in oratorio, chamber music, art song, and opera. Katherine is a Van Lawrence Fellowship Winner from the Voice Foundation and was named a 2012 Obermann Fellow in Residence for her research on women composers. She currently offers private voice lessons through West Music in Iowa City.
