Kate Sain is an Adjunct Instructor of Voice at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a prominent figure in Arkansas opera. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Opera from the University of Central Arkansas (2016-2018) and a degree from Columbia University. Kate served as Executive and Artistic Director of Opera in the Rock for four years and three seasons, leading Arkansas' premiere professional opera company and the only Opera America Professional Company Member in the state. During her tenure, she directed acclaimed productions including Madama Butterfly at The Rep and worked to make opera accessible and engaging for Arkansas audiences. She is a Little Rock native with extensive experience in theatrical production and arts administration, and continues to teach voice students while contributing to the vibrant arts community in central Arkansas.
