Dr. Kari Ragan is a leading voice pedagogy expert and instructor located in Issaquah, Washington, serving students throughout the Seattle metropolitan area including Bellevue, Redmond, and nearby communities. With over 37 years of professional voice teaching experience, she specializes in working with singers of all ages and skill levels from avocational to professional singers. Her expertise encompasses multiple genres including classical, musical theatre, pop, rock, and jazz. Dr. Ragan is a Singing Voice Specialist (SVS) who specializes in singers experiencing vocal changes such as aging voice and transgender voice. She works in close affiliation with the University of Washington Laryngology program, helping singers recover from vocal injury or pathology. Dr. Ragan is the author of 'A Systematic Approach to Voice: The Art of Studio Application', published by Plural Publishing in 2020, which presents a framework for integrating science-informed principles of voice production and pedagogical application.
