Karen Bruestle
About
Dr. Karen Bruestle is Professor of Music - Voice & Choir at Weber State University, where she serves as Director of Vocal Pedagogy, Voice and Opera Program. Since 2001, she has led Weber State's voice, vocal pedagogy and opera programs. Her professional performing career has included opera, oratorio, recital and concert works throughout the United States and Canada. As an opera director, her credits include productions such as The Magic Flute and Dialogues of the Carmelites. Dr. Bruestle has conducted vocal master classes on technique and interpretation across the country and has been a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) since 1992. She has performed with the Chamber Orchestra Ogden and directed numerous student opera productions at Weber State University.
