Julian Morris
About
Julian Morris is a NYC-based professional singer and voice teacher with over 15 years of experience as a soloist, ensemble singer, session musician, and coach. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the prestigious Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where he studied with renowned teachers including Patricia McCaffrey, Mark Schnaible, and Deborah Birnbaum, and coaches Kevin Murphy, Gary Arvin, and Carol Vaness. Julian is currently completing his Doctor of Music degree at the Jacobs School of Music. He has performed at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Los Angeles Opera, Auditorio Nacional de Mรบsica in Madrid, The Barbican in London, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Julian sings professionally with many of the country's most renowned ensembles, including The Clarion Society, The English Concert, Ember Choral Arts, and The Cecilia Chorus. His teaching philosophy is rooted in Bel Canto and Speech Level Singing techniques. He is a member of the New York Singing Teachers Association and the National Association of Teachers of Singing, offering lessons for students of all ages and skill levels both in-person in New York City and online worldwide.
