Julia Gilbertson

Vocal music educator with over 13 years of piano study and 5+ years of voice training. Julia Gilbertson is a senior at Southern Nazarene University majoring in Vocal Music Education with performance experience spanning musical theatre, choral ensembles, opera, and jazz. She performed with SNU's University Singers at the Oklahoma City Civic Center and has earned recognition from the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Julia presented her Junior Recital in spring 2025 and brought her passion for music education to international students, teaching music to K-12 students during volunteer work in Japan in 2025. She is an active vocalist and pianist at OKC Trinity Church of the Nazarene. Julia's teaching style is structured yet encouraging, creating an environment that inspires focus, creativity, and confidence in her students.
