Juan Pineda

About

Juan Pineda is a Broadway veteran and international artist with over 20 years of teaching experience. He co-founded the Little Opera Company and Pineda Conservatory, and is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association. Pineda has performed at prestigious venues including Avery Fischer Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and on Broadway (played Thuy in Miss Saigon). He moved to Richmond, Virginia in 2018 and established the Pineda Studio Richmond with his wife Valerie, bringing professional training to students of all ages from amateur to professional level. He teaches voice and acting lessons out of his private studio, specializing in voice, acting, piano, and guitar instruction. He currently serves as worship and music director at Powhatan UMC and works with multiple Richmond-area high school choirs.
