Juan Pablo Perez is an accomplished music educator and performing musician with advanced training across voice, acting, music theory, and instrumental instruction. Born in Cuba, Juan completed his professional music training through vocational arts schools and the renowned Instituto Superior de Artes (University for the Arts) in Havana, graduating in 2002. He has worked as both educator and performing musician since 2002, with extensive experience performing professionally throughout Cuba and Europe in concerts, festivals, and religious venues. Juan emphasizes student achievement and artistic development, noting that many of his former students are now performing in professional bands and some have become music teachers themselves. He instructs students across all proficiency levels from beginners through advanced learners and serves both children and adults. Juan teaches in both English and Spanish and incorporates innovative techniques developed through his decades of performance and teaching experience. His passion for music and education shines through in every lesson.
